Logitech has announced an expansion to its PC keyboard line-up, one that allows you to dispense with a mouse altogether.
The Logitech Wireless All-in-One Keyboard TK820 includes a large built-in touchpad on the side to keep a desktop tidy. It is larger than a conventional laptop touch-panel and is compatible with Windows 8's 13 multi-touch gestures.
As well as the touchpad, the TK820 features an "ultra-slim" design and Logitech's proprietary PerfectStroke key system, which promises to keep typing pressure distributed evenly across the key surfaces. The Incurve keys have softly rounded edges, and the whole keyboard is compatible with the company's Unifying 2.4 GHz wireless technology. You can either connect it to an existing Unifying receiver, or there is one included in the box.
"We created the Logitech Wireless All-in-One Keyboard TK820 to combine everything you need to control and navigate your computer in one sleek keyboard,"; said Charlotte Johs, a Logitech global vice-president.
"This keyboard offers an innovative way to navigate, letting you type, touch and swipe with a single device."
The keyboard will be available in the UK in September for a suggested retail price of £89.99. It will be available from PC stores and online retailers or from Logitech itself.
