Last we heard, the Nokia Lumia 1520 (codenamed Bandit) was supposed to be introduced to the world on September 26. However, that’s probably not when the device will go on sale.
According to WP Central, the 1520 will be available in the US through AT&T only starting early November. The website notes that the phablet is “really thin, but it has some weight to it.” Moreover, it’s said that it’s going to have a 3,400 mAh battery. That’s way larger than the batteries of any other Lumia handset, and even larger than what the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is offering (3,200 mAh).
A large battery is a must for the Lumia 1520 anyway, since it has a 6 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display, and a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor. Other expected features: 20MP PureView rear camera, 4 microphones “for Rich Audio Recording”, LTE connectivity, NFC, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, and Micro SD card slot.
